Halloween is one of the best seasons for laser cutting: small fast projects, spooky details and plenty of glow. We picked eight Halloween laser cut file bundles worth cutting this year, from shadow candle holders and 3D lanterns to ghost earrings, hanging bats and swing scenes. Each one is a digital file bundle for a laser cutter or CNC: you cut and assemble the pieces yourself, nothing ships. The files are made by independent designers and sold on Creative Fabrica.
Photos are illustrations of each design. What you cut depends on your machine, material and settings, so check the designer’s page for the exact files, sizes and license before you buy.
1. Halloween Ghost Earrings
A bundle of cute ghost earring designs for plywood. Each little ghost comes with its own Halloween accessory, such as a pumpkin, a witch hat, a bow, a flower, a coffee cup or a piece of candy. The pieces are small and light, so they cut fast and make easy gifts or craft fair items. Designer: Break Jhon.
2. Halloween Coasters Bundle
A bundle of Halloween-themed coaster designs for cutting and engraving on plywood. A quick seasonal project for mugs, parties and gifts, and a good first test of your engraving settings. Designer: Digital Idea.
3. Shadow Candle Holders
Ten tealight holder designs with a clever trick: a small wooden silhouette (a gnarled tree, a tombstone with a pumpkin, a witch with a cauldron, a haunted house, a ghost) throws a much larger, spookier scene onto the wall when a tealight glows behind it, like a skeletal hand or a shuffling zombie. Use flameless LED tealights. Designer: flydesignsvg.
4. 3D Halloween Stands
Ten miniature 3D Halloween scenes for 3 mm plywood, built on round bases to sit under a glass dome: a stack of spell books with a skull, a pumpkin patch tree with an owl, zombie hands rising from graves, a skeleton on a bench, a haunted house with a skull wreath and more. Add some moss and fairy lights and you have a spooky shelf display. The glass dome is not included, and the designer lists the dome size they used (about 9.5 x 7.3 in outside) on the product page. Designer: Digital Idea.
5. Hanging Bats Bundle
A bundle of laser cut bats made for hanging. Cut a handful in different sizes and turn them into a flock for a window, a garland or a mantel. Quick, cheap and very photogenic. Designer: flydesignsvg.
6. 3D Halloween Lanterns
Three hexagonal 3D lanterns, each side panel showing a classic Halloween scene: a haunted house behind a fence, a graveyard with pumpkins and ghosts, and a zombie hand holding a skull. Add a flameless LED light and they glow from the inside. Designer: MinderEarrings.
7. 3D Halloween Flying Castle
A layered 3D flying castle with a Halloween theme. Stack the plywood layers for depth and place a warm LED light behind it for a glowing shelf piece. Designer: The T Store Design.
8. Halloween Swing Stands
Six layered characters sitting on rustic tree swings: a Grim Reaper, a Scarecrow, a Mummy, a Vampire, a Ghost Girl and Little Dracula, surrounded by creepy trees, spider webs, owls, floating ghosts and glowing jack-o’-lanterns. Great for shelves, mantels, tiered trays and entry tables. Designer: WoodLine Digital.
Tips for Cutting Halloween Files
- Start with the small projects. Coasters, bats and earrings cut fast and are a good test of your settings.
- Test-cut first. Every machine and material behaves differently, so cut a small piece to check kerf, speed and power before the full run. Several of these bundles are designed for 3 mm plywood.
- Use flameless LED tealights. Wooden lanterns and candle holders should never be used with open flames.
- Check the license. Creative Fabrica lists a commercial license with its files. Read the terms before you sell finished pieces.
- Free trial. Creative Fabrica advertises a free trial with free downloads. The terms change, so check the current offer on their site.
Happy cutting, and have a spooky season! 🎃
